Circuit Action Group (CAG)
The
churches in the Congleton Methodist Circuit have formed an Action Group,
which meets quarterly. This Circuit Action Group arranges activities
on a range of subjects including open discussions about topical social
awareness issues, education and training sessions within the circuit, and
sponsorship of events within the circuit to develop social conscience and
support projects throughout the community and the wider world.
Discussions which we have held
include topics such as the Samaritans, the Plight of Farming, and GM Crops.
Training
sessions arranged for all the circuit churches include safeguarding the children left in our care at services and
at other church events and activities.
